We are Fred and Lois Pack. Our ranch is located atop a 1,200' mountain on the NW side of Mount Rainier, Washington State.
70 acres overlooking the former coal mining town of Wilkeson, WA and adjoining the quarry where the sandstone was quarried to build the Washington State capitol building.
We have 15 Norwegian Fjord Horses (some call them ponies), and 10 VSE (very small equines) miniature horses.
I am a former USMC fighter & transport pilot (retired Major USMCR) and flew for Northwest Airlines for 37 years.
Retired since 1996 (mandatory retirement at age 60) and now working with my back and brawn instead of my butt and brain. Never worked so hard in my life.
More will follow regarding raising and showing our Norwegian Fjord Horses.
